Most of the coastal rivers are closed now, and low flow closures come into effect when the flows drop to a certain level. Coastal rivers not listed here fall under those categories. ROGUE RIVER “Anglers found a pretty fair pick on spring salmon here at Elephant Rock and the Fence Line on 5-inch sardines with gold No. 3.5 blades ahead of them. The best bet was to anchor on the inside lines in 5 to 7 feet of water in the afternoons – especially if there was an incoming tide.

ROGUE RIVER “Elephant Rock, the Fence Line, North Slot and even Agness have been the better spots for springers lately. The bite’s not red hot, but enough fish have been showing to keep things interesting. The best fishing has been on the last part of the income and through high tide. Five-inch sardines with gold No. 3.5 spinner blades have been the ticket.

ROGUE RIVER “Geez, another week of slow fishing for spring kings here. The Birthday Hole, John’s Hole and Elephant Rock produced a few fish last week for anglers fishing Rogue Bait rigs, but it was super tough overall despite good water temps. It just looks like there aren’t many fish coming this year (again).
